Default THINKING OF TRADEING UP

HEY GUYS!
I have a 2003 Superglide Sport (fxdxsp) and Im thinking about trading up to the touring model class. Im not sure which model I want though, looking for suggestions. Here are the models I been debating over. The Streetglide which i love the looks of, but been told some neg. things about it, the Elecra glide and the Road King also luv the Soft tail Delux but that would cost to much to get the up grades I want ( windshield and Bags) Any suggestions would be appreciated

They are all very nice, You should test ride them all and decide. I would go for the Street glide or Electra glide classic for the tunes. I feel that you get more for your money with those. Your leaving out the best choice IMO, the Road Glide is a great bike and I absolutely love mine.

The only two things I heard neg on the streetglide were the mirror location (which look great) I might add ,but poor visibility, and the radio in wet conditions Accumilates moisture in the l.e.d display. Now these are things I heard.Feedback from guys like you is Valuablel! Also like to add that the Roadglide is anotherone of my choices Heard nothing neg. on it

I have no problem with the mirrors Im 6'1" they work well for me and have never experienced moisture in the radio and I live in florida and there is a lot of water here in the air and on the ground. I not sure but I think the mirrors were a problem but I think they are mounted diffrently than the first ones were so mabe on the first 06' they were a problem.

You are on the right track when it comes to buying a new ride. Without a doubt the Touring bikes are awesome in every respect.

IMHO, it comes down to two things - do you want wind in your face and no tunes or do you want minimal if no wind in your face with tunes? It is cut and dry - either buy the Road King or a fairing type bike.

For me I chose the later and have ZERO regrets. Stick w/ the Touring bikes and you'll be a happy camper - Gauranteed!

Get a Roadking!!!!

it is really nice to remove the windshield if you're just cruisin' around town, it's like havin' 2 different bikes......

but then again, I am kinda biased.....

I think the Street Glide or Electra Glide Classic are great choices, but you really should ride them both. They do not ride the same (and they are not suppose to) so you may have a stronger preference for one after riding it.

Talk a buddy into renting bikes with you for a day, and each of you rent one of each and then trade bikes during the ride.

I read this forum from top to bottom, but still could not decide until I actually rode both.

Either way, you will have a great bike.
