The rear head pipe on my 07 RG is glowing red. I know they run lean from the factory but this is just not right. Bone stock w/no mods. Anyone else having this problem?

HAD THE SAME THING ON MY 06. CHANGED MY 8 TO 25 DEGREE INJECTOR'S AND NEW MAP . EVERY THING IS FINE NOW.

Agree with the others. Fattin that bike out. Change the injectors, remap it, or invest into a tuner & have it dynoed. problems will go away. Goodluck.

Both pipes are doing it on mine. Dealer says it is normal and if they or I do anything to change that condition. It will void warranty. It has to do with EPA rules.

if your bike is an 05 it probably has them.

Joe if it was built in Feb of 06 it could have the 8 degree injectors. Look on the left side of the bike on the front of the frame for Man. date. If you have the 8 degree injectors you can get them replaced for free at the stealer. Look past the horn at the injectors inbetween the cylinders. If you have 25 degree injectors the serial number will end in (a). Good luck.
