I have this one. Just did 2400 mile round trip. It was great. Seems to be the perfect fit for me.

Thanks for all the responses. Are there any issues with the added thickness of the LRS? I'm sure this is the one my friend was unhappy with as he said it was too thick and left a gap at the edges of the fairing.

9" LRS recurve here...............works great, and I can see over it just fine.

I've had my share of shields, and this LRS is pretty nice.

Never had anything but a clearview (8" recurve) but Im 6'3" on a Mustang seat and it works for me on an 08 SG, seems like some of you guys are a lot shorter and still have taller shields than me. Have had a couple over the years and they do take a month to get but they are really nice shields, fit nice and dont make me run a huge shield on my SG and kill the looks! You would think they would expand after years of running a month behind though?

So no issues with the extra thickness?

Thanks,
Rick

I've had the ultra flip from LRS since spring. Ordered the 8" and have been happy with the shield thus far. I took my fairing off over the weekend and when I put the shield back on and the right side cracked off where it seats down into the screw. Doesn't look that bad but there is a small gap opening there now between the inner and outer corner fairing .
I did have a problem with them not answering me back on an email I sent them regarding a different matter. So will see what happens if I try calling them about this issue.

bought a clearview 6.5 dark smoked last week in sturgis at their booth, rode out with an 8" dark grey and decided it was a little to tall for me. If anyones looking for a 8" dark grey PM me will sell it for $70 shipped (in 48 states) only used it once to ride to sturgis.

I bought one of Clearviews blems (I figured what the heck,it's out there getting hit by everything) the shield came in about 4 days and I can't see a thing wrong with it and I saved money to boot! So don't be afraid of there blems.
