Angry Studdering problem
Have a 2009 FLHRC Road King Classic, started to develope a studdering. Have not done anything to the engine, stock, only thing I added was Rush pipes and everyone tells me that would have nothing to do with it. It starting happening when I had a factory exhaust on it. Everytime I take it to the dealer, they tell me they find nothing wrong and it does not studder when they ride it. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks

If it were mine, I would try another dealership. There are some dealerships that couldn't fix a stickhorse!

Seriously, it is dying out like running out of gas? Or what?

When does it stutter? It may sound silly, but are you in too high a gear when it happens. Like 25 mph in 5th?

yes, it almost feels like running out of gas, but picks back up a few seconds later. Does not happen all the time, but every 5-10 minutes it happens.

Silver, no, any gear any RPM range, 2000-3500 happens all over the place. on cruise control, off cruise control, when excelerating, happens all over the place. This is why it has me stumped. It might actually be the fly by wire set up.

I had a little difficulty getting used to TBW, but not like that. I would take it back to the dealer and start over. If they cant fix it, find another dealer. Something ain't right.

Try checking for loose battery connections on both ends of the cables. Particularly the ground. Make sure they are clean as well.
