On Ultras with cruise control it's mounted under the seat in front of the battery......on non - cruise control bikes it's mounted under the left side cover....that is my understanding...please correct me if I'm wrong
Jeff there installer told me today that if you have cruise the compressor goes under the seat so I believe you are correct.
