td3,
I'm in. Will be ordering mine as soon as the dust settles from all the other stuff I just bought. The last purchase had my wife right on the edge of freaking.
Looking at the set up before ordering,it looks like you could hook a relay into the battery lead. That way you could hook relay power to the acc lead of the bike so it would not be hot when the bike is off. Then it will keep unauthorized fingers from messing with it.Could get the relay from Autozone like we use to seperate fog lamps from the starter switch..........Sound like it will work tony?..........JerryB.
first harley,
i would not want people to splice system into the acc. switch, we put the system together so nothing stock would change, however it is your bike, i would not want to park get off bike and leave bike on then hit switch to lower and then shut bike off... we will leave this to you again if people touch my harley, man oh man.... it is up to you first harley..
thanks,
tony
Thanks tony for your reply. The relay would go in the line to the battery then would be activated when ignition is on.The way people are nowadays,if they see you do something, they try it when you get outa sight.........been there - done that already.......JB.
