I think there are PPG codes for most of the colors.

Red Hot Sunglo is 922609/1 (base coat) and 922609/2 (top coat) ( I believe, up to you to verify)

Wow, I would love to see some pictures of that!!! Definetly speaker upgrade, oil temp gauge, and maybe new handlebars for me while mine is off. Is yours merlot or cherry inside?

Here's a Scarlet Red inner fairing painted. I took it off and put it back on, cost $200 to paint it. It turned out nice.

I just got a price of $150 for my inner fairing from the same shop that did my bags and fender cover. Mine is Crimson Red Sunglow tri-coat.

I looked in the book and they have a different part number for the 08 on up. Does anyone know what is different? I was going to buy one on ebay and have it painted so I could do the swap in 1 day. Do I really need one from 08 up?

Later models have TBW. Throttle cable goes through a hole in the fairing on earlier models. No hole on the right side for later models. I think '08 was the year it changed - but not positive.

Painted inner was one of the best mods for me. Love it, even on black pearl when the difference isn't so noticeable - especially since my factory inner was fading.

I bought the HD painted inner for my Glacier Pearl White Ultra. Got it for 20% off, then sold my original on EBAY for like $125.

That way I was out of pocket about the same as a 'paint shop' wanted to charge, but...........had a GUARANTEED color match.

I like to do things ONCE, with little or no hassle.
