It's with great regret I have to say due to a sudden twist of events we had to sell our HD. Needless to say it's been a very emotional time to say the least...... Anyway, just wanted to thank all the members for all their help during our build. This is a great site which only magnifies the dedication and friendliness of all you HD owners. Thank you all soooo much and yes we'll be back!!
I feel your pain. I had to get rid of my '05 EGC last December due to a pay cut at my job.
The pay cut was supposed to last 2 or 3 months... it's still cut. After much consolidation and cutting and a blessing from a family friend of ours, I may be getting an '09 EGC here shortly.
Sorry to hear about anyones misfortune, but in todays world it's all too common.
I had to sell my 02 Wide Glide in 07, we had to take 40% pay cuts. Business picked up, we got our pay back, and I was able to find a real nice 07 RK. Sometime you can't go forward until you take a step back.
sorry to hear about your misfortune sallyman. things will work out for you though, and you'll be back in the saddle again. it tends to go in cycles, good luck, and just because you'll be without a bike for a while, don't give up.
Definitely a bummer for you & many others w/today's economy. Hope you bounce back in the saddle soon & stick around on the forum for dialogue. Good luck!
