got a '07 UC. it just started having problems with the sound coming out of the headsets. the right side sound in the headsets keeps breaking up, much like maybe a bad connection or wire. does it at the same time with both passenger and rider headsets. when i turn the headsets off and just listen to the speakers, there is no problem.
It is NOT the VOX. it is just on the right side. I tracked all the wires down and checked to see if any were frayed. also checked the connectors under the console and where the harness plugs into the radio.
anyone else had this problem? hopefully it ain't a bad radio!
Havent had this problem. When you were tracing the wires, was there a multi-wire connector in there? Sometimes the copper contacts in the connectors build up enough corrosion to interfere with continuity. Sorry I do not have a definitive solution for you.
