I posted this in the dyna section but from past experience Ive found the touring guys to be much more knowledgeable ( no offense dyna forum ). Anways my 6 speed indicator light dosent light up when in gear. My bike was just tuned with the screamin eagle super tuner. Thanks in advance !!

My understanding for the touring models (not sure about the Dyna) is that they are equipped with LEDs, not indicator lamps, and the indicator light assembly is not serviceable. If one LED is bad, the indicator light assembly must be replaced. This info is from my 2007 Touring Model service manual. Good luck.

I'm guessing, this is where I'd start looking. I know with the TTS you can change some variables to get the 6th gear light back with a gear change so I'd imagine the super tuner might have some variables that were changed and you lost it.

My neutral switch crapped out once. Caused the neutral light AND 6th gear light to stop working intermittently. The switch was replaced under warranty and cured the ailment...

I had the same problem when I installed my T-Max . After carefully reading the tuning manual , I changed the final drive ratio to 84 (Thundermax suggestion) , and problem solved . Maybe you can read the manual for the tuner , and see if there is something there regarding the issue .

+1 what dawg said. 6th indicator is determined by a ratio, either read about here or the service manual. If the ECM doesn't get the right input, no light even though in 6th gear.
The American Iron 'Motorcycle Bagger' issue has an article about the Baker fifth gear fix. It says if you don't get a 6th indication you may need to adjust the speedo calibration to read a couple mph faster.
