well I ended up ordering a C&C seat with the gel insert. I should have it by the end of next week. We'll see how I like it. Thanks again!

This is the best recommendation I've heard so far. These are the two seats I'm considering most. Does one of these seats move you back further than the other? Does one move you lower than the other?

How long have people rode on this DG Big Seat and still think it is comfortable.

I have the C&C solo with backrest. Sits me 1"lower and 1-2" further back from the stock seat. Also no problem after 250 mile ride. I'll know better after we get back from riding to Sturgis this year. Should log around 3k miles.

Is it the Big Seat? I'm sure some DG seats are only good for short while others are comfortable longer?

I have the C and C solo with a backrest and its really comfortable.
Rode to Laconia and back last week with the seat and the backrest from my tour pack and it was great. Sunday I rode almost 12 hours including the Mt Washington climb and no hotspots, no numbness. Love the seat

I owned a C&C, and their customer service is excellent.... On that note, never really cared for the seat. The initial quality was excellent, but after 15k miles, it was starting to come apart at the seams. The edges were cracking, and coming apart.

I personally would lean toward the DG.... I've seen several over the years that were older with more miles on them, and they still looked new.
