Bub 7 on my 08 ultra end caps pitting and look like crap.

 

how about the headers? same problem? I'm think of getting true duals headers from bub but this quality problems makes me think about it...

 

Bub 7's TD on my 2008 Streetglide. I little yellowing on the inside of the tips, but otherwise nothing.

 

I wonder if the fuel moto ones would fit??

 

sandblast them and paint hi temp black... just an idea

it sucks they won't back them up. If it were me, (and it might be at somepoint, my Bub 7's will be installed soon), I'd paint them bbq black until winte,r then after riding season, send the caps to Chromemasters in Nashville to get rechromed, and I bet I'd never have to worry about them again.

 

Funny, I was just trying to get hold of Bub's yesterday with the same problem. Major flaking and end cap looks like crap, I just tell everyone they are Bub's, it'll bite them in the a** sooner or later... I am not happy with the product, especially if I am not going to be able to get a better discount on the end caps. I guess I'll just ride around with them looking like crap.... let the consumer decide.

 

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback. It wouldn't be so bad, if Bub would just admit there is a problem and offer to replace the end caps. I can't get Linnea to even return my calls. I think I will put these end caps back on the bike for now, so I can show everyone I know what crap Bub Enterprises is putting out. Sooner or later, it's bound to affect their sales.

 

any complains about bub7 headers quality or just mufflers tips?
