Got real tired of the oil goo in throttle body and on worse case was drips from the air cleaner. I had trimed the rubber hoses on breather tubes on a stage one kit which got rid of the drips from cleaner but still had goo in throttle body.
Ended up installing a Doherty power pacc and have been very happy so far. Only drips from power vents even with no down tubes has been on cold morning at the coast here in Ca. Moisture from cold morning. Nothing from road miles!! Have about 1,000 miles and throttle body is as clean as new!!. Still have to come up with drain or down tubes. Thinking S/S tubing but still pondering what I want to do.
I wanted to change from football stock cover as the Doherty sticks out a bit further. I was thinking I would chrome the Doherty stock cover but i think maybe now I will leave it black.
Today's project was cover change. What do you think. I am happy.
