I received an email from Progressive today that my bike rate had been reduced. I called and the girl was super friendly telling me that she would send me pics of her husband's custom HD. In any case I had been paying $537 a year but it is now down to $456. This is just after filing a comprehensive claim where they paid me just shy of 3K from storm damage. Kudos to Progressive from me!!!! You may have and express other thoughts but mine are positive to say the least.
Strtarrow,
Have you called Foremost Ins? I am glad that Progressive is giving you good service. IMO your rate seems high for a clean record. I have three bikes, and I pay about $200 more than you.... Just suggesting is all. I am just glad there are some decent momo INS companies finally!
I appreciate the tip and will look into it as my policy renews in October. I do however have a vehicle related DUI I can not expunge until next year... Long and ugly story related to Bipolar witch.

Glad you like the Liberal Insurance Company. I'll maybe pay more to keep the money in the conservative coffers. As an aside, DUIs result from one thing and one thing only. Mixing alcohol with driving.. it ain't brain surgery
One thing to remember about insurance rates is that the state you live in has a direct influence on the price. I'm not saying everyone should shop around but be aware that just because someone in another state received a certain coverage rate does not mean you, living in a different state, will get the same rate.
