Anybody have any ideas about relocating the council intercom plug on an 08 ultra. Want to clean up tank. Any way to relocate under the seat. Thanks.!

 

check out the 2011 HD Catalog ( I dont have mine w/ me) but I just got a street glide and wanted to add a intercom plug then buy adapter plug to reduce to ear buds -- whole goal of having music in my headphones and not through the neighborhood, any way the parts guy was showing me a plug that mounted alongside the bottom of the tank console -- looked terrible there (more clutter) he said you could tuck it up by the hole in the frame under seat, I didnt like that either, so I am actully buying a Ultra dash console w/ the intercom plug and a switch kit to add so I can toggle from intercom to audio ( like the ultra ) Hope this points you in the right direction - good luck

 

Take a look at the installation instructions for the Boom Audio Music & Intercom kit, p/n 77108-09A and the parts list included at the end.
It uses a rider headset connector and harness that doesn't mount in the tank console:

You can buy the kit's rider headset connector/harness as a separate part.

I installed this kit on my bike because I wanted to retain the SG tank console rather than replace it with one like the Ultra uses with the headset connector in the tank console.
