I went to a charity ride in the poconos on sunday and got to run 5 laps on the speedway! But when i got to 95-100 mph the front end had a slow wobble / wondering to it . Is this normal? I dont plan on ever running this speed but still have a concern. Any ideas / answers ? Tire pressure is good steering bearings tight.

It doesn't take much at that speed.
Tire wear,balance,rim slightly distorted,wheel bearings a touch loose,motor not perfectly aligned,wind,etc.
Are you running a windshield or fairing?
My old fatboy was stable at 120 plus but the wind beat you to death!
My Road King gets a little "windshield steer" around 105.
Since I rarely exceed 90mph(when passing on a two lane)I'm not concerned with the high speed instability. It's never bit me and you have to expect some "thrills" at high speeds.
.... and you have to expect some "thrills" at high speeds.
It is fair to say that many of us may never travel at high speeds, but if one of us just once wants to find 'what'll it do?' the darned thing should be trustworthy and do nothing 'thrilling', except go fast!
Mike is right with his list of things that can affect handling at speed. But we don't know what model 1957buick has, so can't get very far with this just yet.
i dont know if this means anything or not but the weekend i gotmy 05 road king custom i noticed a little wheel shake at about 80mph with a 20 mph crosswind not awful but there , since then i added the fork mounted air deflecters and rode 400 miles this weekend in 30-35 mph crosswinds and it was straight as an arrow ...go figure
Sorry guys I srewed up , it's a 2008 ultra with 17,000 miles
2008 & earlier need a stabilizer. Even if you don't ride at high speed it will improve the ride & handling. At higher speeds a stabilizer may save your life.
