Hey Zook,

What do you call the parts you have installed between the hard bags and the rear fender? I assume they serve the purpose of hiding the somewhat unsightly brackets that support the saddlebags. They look great. Where can I find them?

--BlkNyt

They come stock on a street glide. They are sold through HD though. They are in the Acc catalog

Sorry Vegas these are not the SG plastic filler pieces. These a custom made billet pieces. I'm going to put them into production duing the winter. I am also working on the rear pass foot board covers and filler panels for the police saddlebags. Here are pics. ZOOK

will these be the fork lowers that i will want to go to a single disc up front?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-H...spagenameZWDVW
NO VEGAS! Your forks are a special kind. One side has a cartridge an the other is a conventional spring (dont ask me why, this has kept me up a few nights). The best way is to take the right leg to a polisher and have him grind and polish it off. Then Powder coat it. ZOOK

I am just curious as to why you have to change out the stock master cylinder if you want to go with a single disk set up? Can you not just put a plug in the manifold for the other side?

I haven't had any pulling problems with mine, and my brake is twice the size of the stock brake.I wouldn't put nothing smaller than a six piston caliper on,which gives you more stopping power than the stock duals.
Shaweet ride GMoney.

I don't know if anybody cares, but going to one front disc WILL change the handling characteristics under braking! The bike will try to stand up if you aretrailing the front brake when leaning into a corner. Just something to think about and be aware of if you like to ride hard on curvy roads, like I do. Be ready to countersteer to offset this torque reaction, then it will become second nature and probably not cause you aproblem.
