Those bars are the shart! Can anyone that has the 12" bars, installed, tell me if they can still see the stock, fairing mounted, mirrors?
But just in case I have to mount mirrors on the bars, do you guys that have the mirrors mounted on the bars, have a lot of vibration? I'm hesitant to change the stockers because they work at all speeds very well.

With my 10's straight up i can still see the bottoms of my mirrors fine, i would think with 12's you would see the whole mirror. With the part that i can see i believe its good enough not to need bar mounted mirrors.

I have 12's with bar mounted mirrors mounted upside down. I can see fine with no vibration on the mirrors.

Hey Geekzter, how tall are you? I'm thinking of going with the 12" as well but am afraid they might be to tall for me, I'm 5'6", I'v had the bike lowered 2" up front and 3" in the rear. Have a buddy that has 13" cyclesmiths and it felt fine, if i'm not mistaken they are about the same hight and go over the fairing about the same. Any advise here would be appreciated, Thanks.

I'm 5'10". A friend (5'6") sat on the bike and said they felt comfortable to him. My bike is an 09 Ultra w/ a 2010 CVO Street Glide seat which makes me sit approx. 2 to 3 inches lower. By lowering your bike it will not gave an effect on your seated to bar position.

"By lowering your bike it will not gave an effect on your seated to bar position" should read; By lowering your bike it will not effect your seat to bar position.

What extended cables are you going with? Did you order the brake and clutch as well?

Hey HD Rolling, I haven't ordered any cables yet, the mech. at the shop that is doing the install wants to measure the bars and bike to see what size cables we are going to need.
