Default Made a discovery

After reading rave reviews on the Harley Boom Audio speakers I decided to buy a set. The reviews were on the money with great sound, less volume needed and great appearance. The discover was this. I never thought to even look at the Ohms rating on these and now that I have decided to maybe replace my head unit I find that all of the head units I like are 4 ohms and do not recommend using 2 ohm speakers because of heat to the head unit amp. Is there any way around this with out changing the speakers. I really like them.

If you wire the speakers in series they would run at 4 ohms but that may introduce some other issues.

J&M have both the 2 and 4 ohm. Great sound.

That's what I would do!

Add a set of 2 ohm lower fairing speakers, and wire your two left and two right speakers up in series. That'll give you a 4 ohm load to your head unit.
