Default 103 problems?

I am looking into getting the new 2011 Street Glide and am thinking about getting the 103 instead of the 96. Anyone hear about any issues with the 103??
Thanks

I can tell you that it does not come with the SE-255 cams like it does if you buy the 103 kit and add it to the 96".

I have a2010 Electro glide with the 103. Added Bub-7 mufflers and high flow K&N air filter with dyno tuning. Motor runs great with a good boost in torque. Have about 7,000 miles with no issues. Charleyb

No issues yet either. Good strong motor, IMO

No issues and the power is decent even in stock configuration. Next week I will be getting rid of the cat...Pro pipe/intake/dyno tune next week. The 103 is same as what came in the Ultra Limited last year and I don't hear any of those people complaining...see the post above mine.

Have the 103 on both of my bikes and I would suggest it to anyone buying thinking of buying a new bike.

103 is a good engine i think...mine is in process of a total rebuild ,,, because of a dropped valve... spring was broke in 3 pieces.., heads had around 77k miles on them...

As already mentioned the only thing the factory 103 needs is a set of cams, exhaust, and a tune and you would have a dependable bike that pulls hard and runs good.
