I like mine and I'm glad I bought it. On my first ride, I was impressed with the "stereo" sound of my pipes, but now I'm used to it and don't notice it anymore. True enough about the stock heat shield looking less than slick when turned backward--but after 2 years I've yet to have a single comment on it, so it's apparently one of those things that people don't see unless they're looking for it.

I have had it on mine for a couple of years now - works great.
I bought a set of Samson duals and the left side did not fit properly even with many calls to them - (POS in my opinion).
So I used their right side and the Full-Sac on the left (to get the correct fit).
Now all is well with the world
Worked fine and sounds good. I have one slightly used I had on my 2008 UC. If interested
PM me. I took it off when I traded the bike. $100 shipped in the US.
If he don't send me an email and paypal account and I will get the money to you by Wednesday.
I have had mine on for about a year now. I luv the sound. I also have the Harley Goodies heat shield and the Full sack 2" baffles for my Screamin eagle touring mufflers.
I have this on my 07 street glide with no complaints. reduced heat for passenger and improved sound. There is a seam on my heat shields on the left side, but I can live with it.
I think you will like it
One thing about all the Harley exhaust systems I find strange is that not one company advertises a horsepower gain from installing a exhaust system or a component. I do alot of stuff with snowmobiles. Every single company that makes exhaust systems will claim a 5 h.p. gain or as much as 20 h.p. on some of the full sets of pipes. The same goes for pick-ups.
Claims of improved power are just that - claims! There are so many things we can change it is just as well they don't make them.
I had a Fullsac kit on my bike for a couple of years. Frankly I bought it to keep my old system going after the Y pipe cracked, which it did just fine. As a result I liked TDs so much I now have a complete new set-up.
Once you buy the kit, the HG heatshield and the gap heat shield at the curve at the floorboard...you are close the the price of V&H TD Headers which can be picked up new on ebay for about $300. I would rather go that route and have new full length heat shields.
