Yep, there is always a bright side! Made me chuckle.
I hope you find a solution. I had a hard time getting baffles out of my reinharts and moving the pipe in a circular motion to work it loose worked for me. Good luck, pics might help us give you some ideas as someone already mentioned.
I'm sorry - I have to confess that's just a funny picture. I can't help myself. I do hope you get it sorted soon. I suggest you remove the muffler and take it to a mechanic. For some perverse reason this reminds me of some x-rays of people who've put "stuff" (like coke bottles) in places they don't really anatomically belong and wound up in the emergency room.

Ponch I'm in Columbus so if you need to borrow my stock mufflers you can. At least I think that's what you're saying. I'm reading it as you can get the slip ons off and need something meanwhile. Let me know if you need to borrow them and I can meet you at the Hooch with them.
thanks for all the replies, and yes now that it is over with i am laughing my *** off about it. I will visiting a new indy in town and if nothing there then calling jamie at fuel moto first thing and see if i can get something. I would post pics but there really isnt anything to take a pic of being that the bar was about 8inches to a foot long and its stuck in the middle of the muffler. oh well you live and you learn thats for sure. will let you know what i end up going with when i get it.
I replaced my standard baffle with the quiet baffle on my fatcat. It's a pain to get them out because they are so tight. Good luck. Some vise grips on the bar that's stuck and maybe ypu can hammer it back out.
i was also going to suggest welding a cross piece on the bar you got stuck and driving it out that way. for many years i've used the 1 7/8" hole saw and an extension to cut out the welds at the back of the mufflers that hold the baffles in place. that and a broomstick and a hammer, voila, done. your job reminds me of the drill instructor when he mentioned something about a monkey and a football, or something to that effect.
thanks for all the help actually got hooked up with a guy here in town that had a set of rush slip ons for sale, 150 bucks you cant go wrong. thanks again and hopefully it will be my last stupid mistake (haha probably not)
