It's amazing that they can get 16G of memory in that tiny little unit. My only concern with putting it on the bars or fairing would be weather damage. That's the advantage of having the glove boxes on the Road Glide Fairing. I just hook my iPhone up to the stereo and put it in the glove box.

Could get some sort of skin for it to help with weather. I figured I would have to mount it in a way where it is easy to put on and remove anyways.
I just got the HD Boom Audio Tank Pouch for my iPod. The back is magnetic and I stick it on the left side of my tank so I can easily change the songs with my left hand. It works great and disconnecting only involves removing one wire to the Aux port in the stock radio. Compared to the overpriced HD iPod Interface, the pouch is a cheap and easy alternative.
I just stopped by the Apple store to check it out again. Seems quite promising. I may try to fabricate a control mount (clutch side) bracket specifically for the new Nano. Although I have to say the 4th gen Touch is looking real good . . . .
