Does anyone know what a good price is for a FHLX with the PowerPak option in Merlot? I've been considering a HD for a while now, and my bike yesterday received a $1700 repair estimate, so I think it's time to pull the trigger
Also, any opinions on the 103 vs. the 96? Is it worth the extra money? I'm struggling with getting any dealer to be willing to negotiate price
You're probably look'n @ ~$22K + for an '11 FLHX w/those options & they probably won't budge b/c merlot is one of the new/popular colors & power pak is highly desired so this equals bike sales/profit. You can try to get some $$$ in accessories & options, but they're not gonna budge alot.
If you're looking for a better deal - see what's left w/'10's because those are the bikes they need to move. How do I know - bought by '09 FLHX last Sep - right from line-up of '10's sitting in a row. The older bike(s) are ones you'll get @ discount. Might not be the color, or options you want, but can't shy away at saving $$$. Good luck!
