Friend just got his new bike in and is waiting on the engine...
He bought a flhx and is putting a jims 120 in it...
Whats everyones opinion...
is he going overboard...
From everything I've read and a few people that I've met that have one. You'd better hold on when you wrap the throttle. I haven't heard of any dependability issues either.
Javalina Harley is doing the build and have aready talked him into a chain drive so he doesnt snap belts...
I havent ever seen the power of this engine so Im kinda pumped up to see it...
I think its to much for me but it will be fun to ride around with and see the looks..
And I probably shouldn't even bring this up but a guy on another forum I frequent just had a Jims 120 go kaput with 6500 miles on it.Jims had the dealer ship the motor back to them but made no promises as to the outcome.Sounds like this guy is awaiting their verdict on the issue.
Edit because it won't let me link to the other forum for some reason.
