Default 2011 Fuel Mileage
We rode a little over 400 miles Friday 2up and averaged 43mpg @ 65/70mph. Thats 6mpg better over the best I had got with it stock.
What's everyone else getting?

I found it is more accurate to use several tankfuls for an average. It is very difficult to fill these new 6 gallon tanks to the same level every time.That said, I seem to be getting between 38 and 43 with my Limited dresser duals s/e air filter and PCV. Runs great too!

For the first 1000 miles after break in I was getting 45 to 48when I checked it at 65 -70 highway and cruise. Now the last three tanks I am getting 35 - 36 highway. Something changed! Other than chrome I am still stock.

Unless it's running different, I would still be suspect of the amount of fuel you are putting in. A 1/2 gallon makes a ton of difference in your mileage in a 6 gallon hole!

I got just over 1000 miles on my Limited and so far I've been right at 40 mpg on every fill up. And yes, these new 6 gallon tanks are difficult and slow to fill.

I'm getting about 40 with mostly city riding with the Economy tune running. With the power tune running, I am getting closer to 34 mostly city.

Just got back from a three day trip. Two up with loaded bags and tour pac. Combined back roads and highway. I was doing a little better than 40MPG.
I'm happy.

I've got about 930 miles so far on a Road Glide Ultra and I've been getting about 40-41 with mixed riding in totally stock form.

My 2010 averages about 38-39, it has the stage one done. My 08 seemed to be a bit better for some reason.

I know my bike ain't a 2011 but for me it is all about MPH. at 75 I get about 37. At 60 I get 45, even when towing the trailer. Speed makes a BIG difference.
