Default Normal vibration?

08 StreetGlide
Seems like it vibrates more than it used to.

Anyone out there got a 07 or 08 Streetglide that can tell me how much vibration do you get looking at the mirrors at 15 to 19 hundred RPM?

When I had my hardtail, it was normal to get double images in the mirror because it was shaking so much. Now I get a very noticable shaking of the mirrors only in that RPM range. Above that it smoothes out and is as clear as a bell.

If you've got an 07 or 08 StreetGlide, try starting it up in neutral and rev it up to 1900 RPM and tell me if your mirrors are noticably shaking.

Default Vibration

Hello! I could use some help here. I already pulled my front motor mount apart and found it to be good.

Need to know if I have a problem or if it's all in my head.

Mine doesn't vibrate excessively in neutral at 1900 rpms but shakes pretty good at those rpms on the highway. You might want to check and see if an inner fairing bracket is broken. I've had one and I couldn't see anything out of the mirrors. Fixed it by cutting and drilling an L bracket and attaching it to the broken bracket.

Have you checked the fairing brackets? Hold the grip and push on the side of the fairing.
Do both sides. If you can move the fairing you have a broken bracket. If in doubt pull the outer off and look.

Default Fairing bracket

That's the first thing I checked. Pulled the fairing off and looked at them. They were fine.

check your cross linkage, the one that goes from the front cylinder head to the frame. that can cause the type of vibration you've described if it gets loose.
