Enough to make your mirrors shake quite a bit?

At 15 to 19 hundred rpm, you are lugging the engine and it will vibrate. I always keep it at or above 2000 rpm (unless I am coasting down-hill).

A friend of mine has an 07 SG that vibrates at 2000 RPM's. His fairing brackets were broke and he replaced them, but it still vibrated. He had a Bagger Brace on it and he took that off and it still vibrated. He replaced the front motor mount and the swing arm bushings with the Glidepro setup and all though it helped some, he still has some vibration. I'm going to tell him about the steering head nut, maybe that will help with the rest of the vibration. Thanks

Mine did the same thing, took it to the dealer and they said my head bolts were about to fall off. So he lock tightened them and no more shake.

WHAT??? Head Bolts??? WTF does that have to do with vibration? If the head bolts are loose, you will blow a head gasket, but that should not cause a vibration issue.
