Could you post a couple of pics? That is the same shield I am thinking of putting on my UC. Is the tint light enough to not cause distortion when riding? It seems as if they get to dark you always are straining to look over it, kind of as if there is a wall in front of you.
I'm away from my bike for a couple of days. I'll take a picture and post it when I get back...
Got my first ride in today with my 10" Ultra from LRS..... I should have gone an inch or two higher I think ( 6'5" ) as I feel the wind just hitting the top of my helmet..... I'll get it up to 80 on the expressway and make the call then....
On the plus side it looks great and it's really nice not having the top of the windshield right in my line -o- sight
I am 6'5" also, 36" inseam with a Tallboy seat on my Ultra. Does the windshield actually measure about 9 1/2" or so? It says on their site that they measure from the center screw. This is the height I am thinking of. What tinit did you get? Any pics?
I emailed them last night about the Road King shield fitment on a springer front end...Cross Bones actually.
They emailed me back just a couple of hours ago. I am impressed with the response, so I'll be getting shield for both the Cross Bones and the Street Glide.
Would like some feedback on the different height shields for the touring bikes from some owners. I'm 5'10" and would like to get the lowest shield that offers the best protection from buffeting.
