No matter what you throw at it, if it's not tuned right it's never going to run right.

Find a good tuner in your area, get a TTS Mastertune, and get a real tune done to the bike. By real tune, I don't mean the 1 hour jobbie. They need to hit every cell at every TP and every RPM for fuel and timing......which takes time, but in the end it will be like riding a new bike.

TD and oil cooler will reduce heat by 10 to 20 degrees but in traffic and hot weather without breeze it will still be some what uncomfortable. On my 07 & 08 V&H TD seems to work good so far.

Put TD's along wit Stage One on mine and it made difference in the heat. I had to go to TD's to get rid of the cat in the head pipe of the 2010. Really like the sound and the performance.

Started with factory exhaust= HOT!

Installed Fuelpak (junk IMO), V&H MO, K&N and removed cat= HOT!

Changed to PC-V with FM map= Maybe a tad cooler.

Changed to CFR's with same map= No change

Stayed with CFR's with another map from member here= A bit better.

Changed to V&H Dresser Duals and did dyno Tune= EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!!!

I can honestly say that when I did the duals and dyno tune, it cooled down significantly. Don't go through what I did, take my advice and do it!

I've got 2010 SG w/ 103 stage 2 and heavy breather. Also thinking of going with V&H Dresser Duals. Love the look just can't decide on what slip-ons to pair with them. I prefer them on the louder side. Thinking of going with V&H Hi-Output slip ons but anxious to hear them first before dumping all the cash. What slip ons are you running with the dresser duals?

True duals fixed the heat problem on the ankles for my wife sitting on the back. However, if you want to eliminate the heat to your inner thighs get the awesome RJS Originals Heat Deflectors. http://www.rjsoriginals.com/ His slogan is "No More Fried Thighs" and is not just another catchy saying. They work as advertised and look like they belong on the scoot. They are so simple to install that even I could do it! No comparison between RJS Originals and the cheap azzed plastic Kury or HD deflectors.

I'm running the V&H Ovals with the V&H Dresser Duals....have contemplated going with Rinehart slip ons...but I really love the sound and the looks of the Ovals.....BTW, Heat is no longer an issue with the Duals.

Exactly! I installed true duals on my bike and it runs cooler than before but it went from almost unbearable to very bearable. I'm talking when stuck in traffic, and yes, the EITMS still activates from time to time.
When moving, no problem whatsoever.
Oh and the sound improved dramatically.

Many say that you lose some low end with the TD"S too.
I went with the oil bud oil cooler.
The most expensive on the market but it is also the biggest oil cooler on the market.
