I have TD, Jackpot Mufflers, SE Air, & TTS can map. When stuck in stop & go traffic you still get toasty but the TD do help some.

sounds like it could be an exhaust leak.

I prefer them on the louder side. Thinking of going with V&H Hi-Output slip ons but anxious to hear them first before dumping all the cash. What slip ons are you running with the dresser duals?
I have CFR's.

Don't believe the hype of loss of low end due to TD's. If there is any loss, I certainly can't feel it. For sure get a dyno tune. It made a huge difference in the way it runs.

It really sounds like your tune is off if you have popping on decel. I have the FM breather, PCV, and mufflers. I don't have any decel popping and the heat isn't a problem. I ride pretty much every day and had lots of days in the 98-100 degree range. Have you talked to the guys at fuel moto?

A friend has the rineharts td and they look and sound great. You will still need a good tune.

True Duals aren't going to solve your problem, they will just burn your leg equally on both sides.
You are running lean.

Decel poppng can come from too lean or too rich conditions. The only way to know for sure is to have a dyno tune done.

Otherwise, you can try different maps until you stumble onto one that works.

True duals will help somewhat but they won't solve the tune problem. if you have $400 to throw at it, you can put a set of duals on it anyway.
