Thanks for all the replies. I ended up with some grips from SAC (coolsac) and put about 200 miles on them yesterday. Great grip that is comfortable has great control and it's leather which I really like. The grips are a large diameter but I am able to touch my middle finger to the bottom of my palm and I don't have large hands. My hands don't cramp as much on a larger diameter grip which is why I went that route. No doubt the Kuryakyn are great grips but too many people have them and I wanted a little customization. These grips match my bike pretty good. I don't have a pic of them on the bike but here is what they look like.
I see you've decided but if they don't work out the PM Performance grips are hard to beat since you have better grip and control of your bike your hands are more relaxed. You don't see racers w fat grips. I've use the HD foam ones for years but occassionally my hands would cramp up but they don't w the PM I got fr. lp on this forum. I've tried the Nostalgic and a couple others, even the comfort grips developed by a doctor.
cool sac as far as iam concerned make the best grips and are the most comfortable.
gadgetech i have the same exact ones for my 2011 RGC had them on my streetglide also good move u wont be sorry unless your a racer.
I just ordered my first set of large size grips - Harley's rubber and chrome ones - to match my Harley rubber and chrome shift pegs, foot boards, and brake pedal.
I was wondering if I made a mistake but it sounds like they really will be more comfortable than the smaller 7/8" and 1" ones I've had over the years.
Hopefully they may be enough to lose the Cramp Busters I've also used for years - a great product but not all that aesthetically pleasing on a Harley.
Peace all,
Murph

I just installed PM's Contour XL grips & they're awesome. Yes they're slightly larger but after the 1st ride with them they felt better plus my hands didn't feel as sweaty or grimy as the stockers (all rubber) made me feel. You'll be happy
Sounds like the OP's question was partially geared toward fitment on the bars.
Can't help you there.
But my last three bikes had the big fat soft grips (any brand will do) because I love the comfort. My most recent are leather covered because the foamy ones eventually tear up with sweat and body oil.
