IMO...up to half volume they are better...they sure look better with larger magnets...if i play mine loud they distort like the stock ones

I notice my stock speakers really distort the signal at highway speed when the wind is up and I have to turn the radio up to hear it. Sounds like the background music is out of tune with the singer. For those of you that have Hogtunes, will they eliminate this problem?

The Hogtunes may start to distort after half volume, but you very rarely have to go passed that with them. Unlike the stock ones that you spend most of the time with them at 3/4 volume. I love my Hogtunes and so will you. You will see the difference when you are at highway speeds for sure.

They are a big improvement over stock but you really need to an add an amp if you want to realize their full potential.
