A buddy of mine bought a 2011 ultra. A couple of months after he got it, he was washing it and a fleck of paint came off the front fender on the right side about halfway down behind the forks. He saw it happen and got the fleck off the fender on his finger. He went to the dealer and explained what happened assuming they would touch up the spot. They sold him $40 worth of touch-up paint instead. So there you go.

I understand your desire to have a bike that's as perfect as possible, but if I were you, I'd order some touch-up paint and enjoy the ride.

Give it 2 or 3 weeks, ride and enjoy the bike. If it is too small for the wife or camera to see it will probably pass from your worries also.

Dings, scuffs and scratches are a way of life with bikes that are actually rode alot. Less that one week after picking up my new Ultra I had a small scuff on the top of one of the saddle bags. Boot drag from either me, my wife or my son.
