You will lose alot of low end torque not having a baffle in your Fat Cat. That's an expensive pipe to ruin. Maybe take it off an sell it, and use the money for some straight pipes.
Not sure if it will fit, but I have D+D Big Bore baffle off of my 01 RK, I switched to their quite baffle, cause the Big Bore was too loud.
I picked up some extra low end just switching to the more restrictive quite baffle.
You might check with D+D and see if the bigger baffle would fit. I sold the RK, so I could make you a deal on the baffle.

I have the fat cat 2 into 1 with regular baffle (complete system). I also purchased a extra slip on with loud baffle. The loud baffle is louder but doesn't have the deep sound of the regular. I am going to try to sell loud baffle slip on on ebay.
