I have them and really like them and fellow bikers also like them. Had some trouble with end cap staying on would not get the end caps again, pricey for what you get. Pipes are great. My 2 cents
Pipes sound great, not too loud, not quiet. Perfect for long distance touring (per the ears of my wife). Fit and built are top notch. for the price, they are great pipes.
Oricko, thanks for the heads up on the tips
I see lots of mufflers for 400-800.00 I cant imagine how much better they would be than this unless specific to a BB tune etc.
I've been running with the Jackpots for two seasons now and I'm real happy with them. These are great touring mufflers that have deep rumble. They are not loud at idle and cruise, but when you want to twist the throttle you get a nice loud and deep note.
With two seasons on these mufflers, they have held up well and I have no problems. The earlier Jackpots had an average finish, but still very nice. I hear the latest version of the jackpots have an outstanding finish on them.
Bottom line is the stock mufflers are garbage. The Jackpots are a huge improvement. I highly recommend the entire dynotuned Jackpot package.
Ya and they want to charge separate shipping on end caps/tips. Thanks for the heads up as I am getting a jackpot muffler but was undecided on end cap. For one the separate shipping was a turn off.
If you call them it may not charge separate? I dont know... But on the web site when I was checking cost it did charge separate.
I love my Jackpot pipes! I have the black tips from FuelMoto as well. Fuel Moto put the tips on when I ordered the pipes. I went to Daytona and narrowed my decision to the monster ovals or Jackpot pipes. The Monster ovals seem to be a little louder than the Jackpots. I went with Jackpots due to cost and the repitation of fuelmoto. The finish looks like it did when I first purchased the pipes. On the tips I have had a lot of compliments!
I have the dyno tuned slash ups with black tips, good sound though I would'nt want any louder. The tips attach with 2 set screws that push against the muffler wall, mine are still on no probs, could be a better set up though
I bought a set of Jackpot's for my 08 105th Anniversary UC last year. When I traded for the 2010 RK I have now, I took them off and put the stock mufflers back on. I'm running them on my RK. I also bought a set for my wifes 2010 SG trike. Great sound, Good quality chrome. Best buy for the money. JMO
I have the Jackpot Dyno Tuned with the quiet baffle and the black tips. I had two other sets of slip-ons before I got the Jackpots. I'm very happy with the Jackpots and I love the sound level of the quiet baffle with the insert out . . . . . just right.
