I was at a bike show and saw these ape's must be hard to control. We have a law here in Australia with handlebar hight and I don't think this would pass.
Ya new I be be popping in on the apes thing. I love apes & been flying them for about a total of 150k miles on 3 differant bikes! It is a opinion & I agree with some, You like them or you dont. I kinda like that look on that ride with apes----Its just differant. I like differant. Heck I even tried putting a set on a night rod I had briefly. Everyone have a great evening.
TOOLBOX
What Toolbox said. I can see the appeal. I wouldn't put them on my SG, but I think they're cool and unique. Lot's of times I wish my stock bars were a bit higher. I had 12" mini apes, (Wide Glide) bars on my Fatboy, and forget the aesthetics....they were so comfortable it was hard to imagine anything else. Then again stock Fatboy bars REALLY do suck.
I'm so short that I don't think I could reach the bars on this one.

I liked my 16 inch apes on my WG, but probably not on the new EG Standard. Speaking of Tall check these out... I get a bigger kick out of the guy in the background with the WTF look on his face.
Well, I never thought Apes looked good on baggers, But Gmoney, That looks wicked. My opinion is my own, but they look damn good. I think you did them right, but the standard ones don't do it for me.
