Pulled the trigger on Stage One
First off, thank you for all the input from this forum.
I finally made the decision and ordered exhaust, A/C, and PCV.
I ended up choosing Vance and Hines Twin Slash Ovals, Vance and Hines Power Dual headers, and Ness Big Sucker Chrome A/C. I also ordered Auto-Tune module for PCV. At 9am I have to call Jamie at Fuel Moto and order a PCV. Hopefully he can expedite the shipping, since due to my vicinity to Dennis Kirk, my order shipped free ($10 oversize fee) and will be at my office by noon tomorrow. Gotta love local delivery times!
Thanks for all the input. I decided on the V&H set up for many reasons based on input. I chose the Twin Slash Ovals for their looks, growl, and blue-proofing. I wanted something louder than Monster Ovals, but more quiet than High Output. They will have that "Harley Snarl" I am going for.
I chose the Power Duals for their fit and finish, plus the 2/1/2 performance benefits, and the added exhaust note getting rid of my catalytic converter .
I will definitely be going with PCV from Fuel Moto for their outstanding customer service and map support. Adding the Auto Tune should only improve the outstanding map Jamie can provide.
I'm psyched and can't wait to get it all slapped on and enjoy the last few weeks of the riding season.
Next up will be a cam upgrade, most likely the new Woods 555 cam.
