In Southern California. Just bought mine today. 2011 Street Glide, 103 with cruise. $1,500 off MSRP, no prep fees and 15% off all parts and labor for my extras such as pipes, PCV, powder coating, etc.
i am with you..got $500 off msrp. got cruise/security, battery tender hook up included, also color sedona orange. 10% off accessories.(everyone gets that)
What i have difficulty with is i see someone saying they didnt pay prep/delivery?
i can understand someting off of prep, but the delivery?? its hard to believe because that is a private company that delivers these rides..so who is paying their salary/?? in any case i am not arguing but goes against the grain for me..
Did not pay prep or delivery and OTD w/ALL was $22K for a 1 color bike and the Power Pak Kit (ABS-103- Oil Cooler- Security )
Don't pay prep and delivery , Tell your Dealer I SAID - NO ONE PAYS THAT!
I just got my first Harley....finally found THE ONE I loved...had the option of 2011 Street Glide with Cruise or the Denim 2011 SG with ABS/Security and 103. I chose the Vivid Black with Cruise---I'm not a fan of bikes with ABS (only had them on Sport Bikes, but it's just a preference...cuz I'm going to put my own security system on it--any suggestions?) so I figured I'll take a bike that's 2000 less. I got it with backrests and four point mounting and also got some saddle bag bars for it and a new windscreen. I paid MSRP--NO GETTING OUT OF THAT....and got ZILTCH thrown in....but 20% off parts and 200 bucks for a new Turtle Jacket. So I walked out paying 21300. I love the bike....now WAITING FOR RIDING WEATHER I find myself wondering about all the other goodies I can get this year!!!!!
I sold my bike a few years ago and I'm jumping back in. Looking for a 2011 FLHX (would buy a 2010 new if I find one). On a 2011 FLHX, what kind of deal can I expect? What % off msrp can I expect? Some dealers are quoting full msrp, some are offering to pay ttl. I'm willing to do the work, but where do I stop trying to beat them down?
Thanks!
$21,700 OTD Vivid black with the power pack
Plus 15% off all extra parts
I haven't picked it up yet hoping to get some other goodies too
