I got my Road Zeppelin seat in today, and put it on tonight. I went out and rode it for about an hour. I absolutely love it. I am glad I bought this seat. I will know for sure this coming weekend, I have to ride to Oklahoma City with a friend to pick up his new Ultra. Round trip will be about 550 miles. After this trip, I will have a pretty good idea how it is going to work. If you have an Ultra, and have not tried this seat, it is worth trying out.
I have no doubt that the Zep seat is very comfortable, and if I were 6ft tall I would have one. I on the other hand am 5-8 and can barely reach the ground with my stock. That's why I lowered my bike 1 1/4 in front and back. I have one custom seat that feels like I put electrical tape on my fender and called it a seat (lol). I'm still looking for that perfect fit.
Gary - Good luck with it - please let us know how you make out
Terry - I have the same issue on my Electra Glide - I would love to have a Zep seat but I am not tall enough - I have not lowered my bike yet but was wondering of you have seen any lower profile seats you liked
