Default 124" and smaller cam for torque

Plan on building 124" and will be using the T-man 590 or the R&R 615. Will also be using my present 86cc R&R stage V heads. How low should the compression be for such cams.Been playing with the Bigboyz calculator and can only get the compression to around 10.9 & 202 cold cranking using -10cc dish pistons and .040 head gasket. Is this in range? Not looking for HP but monster torque!

I'm guessing around 10.5 you should be ok.What tuning device are you going to use? How is the gas & heat(weather) in your area??Call T-man & R&R & see what they recommend!!

I think PhilM is running around 11:1 with his 124 and the Tman 590's. I've heard he pulls a 5th wheel trailer with it.
