left turn signals

Default left turn signals
security light comes on when i turn on left turn signal. i have chaged bulbs. running lights work. help please! need turn signals

That happened to the wifes 08 Classic last month. Turned out to be the "run, brake, turn sig. module" had crapped out. Removed and reconnected the rear brake/ turn sig. wires and all was good. If you have one of these, try disconnecting it.

What model bike? Upgrade to LEDs? What mods have you done?

I would recommend that you check the left signal wiring for a short. I had the same issue, when the signal is turned on the bulb does not go on and the red key shows up. Check the wiring for rubbing on metal.

The "Run, Brake, Turn Sig. Module" is an accessory that would have been added by you or a previous owner (if there was one). It will make your rear turn signals into additional brake lights as well retain the turn signal function.
If you have one it would be under the seat in-line with the wires that go to the rear of the bike.
