A couple questions real quick. Here is the deal, 07 Ultra, with slip on's , Tech Lusion FI, and a Sreamin Eagle Clone Air Filter kit.
First off, I keep noticing a raw fuel smell, I never noticed it before and it is even at a stop, no signs of leaks or anything but enough to bug me.
Also tonight, this might be silly of me, but my stock exhaust I noticed when I pulled into the garage with lights off that the cross over pipe under the chrome cover was RED Hot. Is this normal?
Yes, the cross over pipes can get red hot. It is due to running lean (as designed per EPA regs). Aftermarket fuel management systems are usually programmed to run a little richer.
I'm not familiar with Tech Lusion FI but the gas smell could indicate a possible leak which could also make the bike run lean.
One trick is to spray some WD-40 or carb cleaner around the intake with the bike at idle. If the sound of the motor changes or RPM varies then you have found the leak.
I too have an 07 with se slip ons and a/c. Do not have experience with Tech Lusion, using PCV. I also had the fuel smell, got a new map for PCV and fuel smell gone.
