You sure can tell the Harley snobs from the motorcycle riders from some of these posts. You would think that there would be more responses like, "Congrats on the new bike or stick around even if you don't ride a HD. We will still talk to you".
I have seen some of those BMW's tooling around my neck of the woods. I have heard of the BMW quality and such, but personally I think those bikes are ugly and based on how the rider sits on it, it looks uncomfortable.
Secondly a friend of mine owns one and we got talking about pricing.....lol, and they are even higher priced. No thanks. Congrats and all that, but I think I'll stick to my hog.
Congrats on the new bike. People make the decisions that suit them and their circumstances the best. No need to defend it to anyone, make you self happy and FTW about the rest.
I've spent time in Denmark and Sweden and I can attest to the pricing being absolutely insane.
This last Summer I met a delightful German couple who were easily in their 60's. They had flown their BMW to Buenos Aires and then ridden it to Alaska, 2 up. That, to me tells me a lot, Germans and their bikes are awful tough! I wouldn't try that ride on an Ultra.

I must be confused, I thought this was a Harley Davidson Forum. I rode many other brands before I could afford the best but bmw was always too ugly.
