I just purchased an 06 street glide with 1000 miles. Beautiful bike, love the looks and ride.
I owned a heritage classic so not used to all the vibration but I am a little worried because after it warms up, at idle it "really shakes". Just wondered if any others have had what they consider excessive vibration at idle. It has the screamin eagle filter, Rush slipons, the 25 degree injectors and the 1450 race download.
Sounds normal. I have a RK Custom and at idle it vibrates to hell. once you get moving though it gets smoother and smoother. Thats the way rubber mounted engines are. My Softail with the balanced motor is just the opposite.
Just joined the forum and posted tonight so had not read much ahead. Found some answers to my idle question. Sounds like some bikes just idle rougher than others. I'll just have to keep the rpms high, which could be fun.
