Default 1997 Ultra Fuel Injection Question

I was replacing the fuel lines on my 97 Ultra, leaking fittings at the tank, and I notice the return line engine side post is loose. How is the post fastened to the injector? I see a large tork nut holding a large clamp which looks like it holds the posts and injectors. What is loose under the post and can I just remove the tork nut and clamp plate and replace something? I do not want to go too far unless I know more. Seems like a lot to have to buy the shop manual but may have too.

Buy the shop manual...and the parts manual also, if you can find one.
In all likelyhood, this won't be the last time you'll need it!!

I agree, I will buy the books. I did find the schematic and decided I did not have an additional leak. The replacement lines work great even though I am not high on the quality of the manufacturer. The return line is slightly too long and twisted. It appears to be working fine but could have been better. Leaks all fixed and bike running great for now. Now all I need is a good job and one of those great looking trikes I saw at the dealer, 103 inches and great looking. Costs as much as my new van.

Thanks for the help

Are your replacement lines HD or aftermarket? From who?

I just removed the star bolt and moveed the support arm. Is really easy once the tank is off and you have access.
