harley makes a bracket for peg mounts. it would be what the streetglides come with from the factory. my wife prefers them to the floorboards as far as comfort. i like them better for looks and they dont hit me in the back of the legs. personally, i use the factory late model sporster pegs with mine as well. they are large in diameter and have some cushioning built in to them. they match the factory ribbed floorboards on my 06 flhri.
Hey I just spent 300 clams on switching to streamliner passenger boards to keep the back seat happy and you guys are goin the other way, wanna trade passengers?
A passenger is just like the driver on a long cruise...always looking for a different position.
Add a set of Kuryakin adjustable pegs, and give her a variety of positions for her feet.
Both the floorboards and the pegs will fold out of the way for your solo rides.
Here is my solution: Kuryakyn Adjustable Passenger Peg Mounts with H-D Rubber and Chrome Mini Passenger Floorboards. More passenger comfort than a peg, but a lot smaller than the OEM passenger floorboard.
Granted the passenger floorboards can get in the way but when you dress them up from stock they add to the custom look of the bike. I have a hard time believing a passenger would be as comfortable with pegs but I have not tried them either. Mine are Willie G. just like everything else on my bike.
