Does anyone know how to reset a Screaming Eagle pro super tuner. I purchased one on Ebay and , even though the seller guaranteed that it was never used, it shows up on my computer as being paired with a different ECM. I have read posts in the past on how to do it, but can't seem to find any now. I was trying to flash a stage I map to my 2007 Electra Glide Classic after removing the PC III and discovered the error. The bike does, however run better with the PC III removed and the O2 sensors hooked up. Also, with nothing more than SE slip-ons, SE air cleaner, and cool weather, how critical is it to flash the new map. It may take a week or two to get a new SERT and don't want to either reinstall the PC III or leave my baby parked. The bike runs good as is so I am only concerned with possible damage to the motor.
Only know what I have read many times on here that once paired that's it.....no other ECM can mate to it. Hopefully someone did find an end around and can help you out.
You could call Jamie at Fuel Moto, he might be willing to send you a new map for the PCIII as a possible solution. (might find that is all the PC really needed anyway)
Only other suggestion I have is if it runs well check the plugs after a few hundred miles and if they are burning normal........run it as-is until you get the new SEPST.
Let the seller know it was used, and you need your money back. Hopefully he won't give you any pushback. It's possible that he bought the unit from someone else and didn't know, and if that was the case, he'll probably honor his "guarantee" fairly quickly. Of course, it's also possible he knew full well what he was selling, and if that's the case you might need to involve Ebay. Ebay has gotten much better about helping buyers get their money back from dishonest sellers.

I think if it could be done it would be done. When I had my bike tuned a couple of weeks ago the dealer accidentally hooked up a new VCI unit to my bike insterad of mine (black) and paired it - so when I picked the bike up he handed me the new VCI (orange) - said it was useless to him.
