Default EZ-UP Stand

While at the Las Vegas Bike Fest yesterday I had an EZ-UP center stand installed on my 2009 Ultra, which may be one of the best purchases I have made for my bike. First; its so easy to use, I can put the bike on it without getting off. Second; its a ride off stand so just put it in gear and go. I came home and did an oil change/clutch adjustment and this stand made life easy. I also put a piece of 3/8 plywood under the stand to get the rear wheel off the ground and was able for the first time to clean the rear wheel and check the air pressure without having to roll the bike back and forth. I highly recommend this unit.

Have had my EZ up since my bike was knew. Like you I really like the stand. Well worth the money for the convenience of the stand. I always use it for refueling and cleaning. Great product.

Had one on the bike for about a month. Hated it so much I took it off and sold it for less than half what I paid for it. It was really convenient for cleaning and service, utterly worthless if the bike was loaded with anything, or if I tried to put it on the stand on anything other than a dead-flat, level surface. To make matters worse, it dragged everywhere, and every decent bump I went over, the thing would spring back up and smack the bottom of the bike.

Interesting. Ive only ridden about 20 miles with it so far, I hope I don't have the same issues. Is your bike lowered? What are you riding? When you say it dragged everywhere, do you mean reduced cornering?

ive only dragged mine once on a speed bump i always ride 2 up (and niether of us is small) not even when loaded with a weeks worth of gear, my only advise is use a velcro strap on the front brake when workin on the bike . i had mine pop off the stand while wrenching luckily the side stand was down and it went left.

After three or four months my bike became very unstable even on a level surface. I plan to have it looked at in Daytona this month.

No, my bike isn't lowered. I ride corners aggressively, and found that the stand was on the ground in nearly every turn. Bumpy low-speed corners were just as bad. Aside from the fact that it was cutting into my fun, it became a safety issue. You can either swing wide once the thing grounds, or you can keep pushing and have the rear tire lift. Neither option was acceptable to me.

I love mine. The only time it nicks the ground is over speed bumps with a passenger and on the rare occasion I find a dip in the road while cornering. Otherwise I can drag the floorboards without the centerstand dragging. One of my favorite mods. You have to know it's only good under specific conditions (solid, flat, level ground).

I have the Harley center stand on my 2010 Street Glide and I love it. Does not drag, easy operation, great for maintenance, on bumps the stand does not spring up and down, almost un-noticable.

Really like mine and is used all the time. Just wish it would work with a J and S jack.
