Finally Some Good Riding Weather

It's here finally after a too hot, too long summer. This weekend six of us rode up to the Tenn/NC mountains and it was great to be wearing chaps and leather jacket again. Temps were in the low 40s when we rode through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park on our way back to Charlotte Sunday morning. My bike liked the weather as well. It hasn't run that good since last April. No pinging and when I twisted the throttle it had power to spare.

I took a ride out of Greenville on Sunday through Clayton, GA, up to Cherokee, NC, on the BRP to Brevard and back to Greenville, SC. It was great except for the heavy and wet fog on the BRP. Just about to the 1k mark on my new road glide. I love riding in this area!
